UGANDA’S ECONOMY REMAINS STABLE AMIDST THREATS OF ECONOMIC SHUTDOWN BY THE OPPOSITION.

            

Unlike threats against businesses that will operate between 25th-27th July 25, 2022, the business community remains calm from such utterances by NUP apologists who were fueling protests within the country with their continued residence in other countries.

Advocacy for the planned Economic shutdown protests have been spread on several social media platforms by NUP fanatics who threatened to disorganize any business that will be found operating within the communicated days, has been opposed by the business community.

While consulting from citizens within busy areas, they promised to keep distance from such planned protests by idiots that won’t feed their families, don’t reside in the country, alleging that Bobi Wine will be put under house arrest in his home while as others are taken to prisons for participating in such useless protests.

Meanwhile, security forces within the country have promised to provide necessary security to Ugandans in all parts of the country to ensure smooth running of their businesses.

WHY EAST AFRICA NEEDS THE EACOP.

There has been recent claims on a motion of resolution by the European Parliament that calls on Uganda and Tanzania to stop the development of oil and gas projects in the East African region.  However,  Uganda and East Africa need the Oil pipeline following public reactions towards the negative motives of the European Parliament. It brings back colonial times, much as their arguments have a grain of salt, I dont think the the implementers of EACOP did not conduct Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). This was done and all aspects taken into consideration. And besides that, Africa at large is the least contributor to climate change.
