Bobi Wine uses Kibalama’s NUP party as a money minting machine to buy property in Germany.

Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi has bowed to pressure, mounted on him by Moses Kibalama over Ownership and accountability of the Party (NUP) and relocated to Germany.

A few weeks ago Moses Kibalama asked for accountability and all assets owned by NUP from the time Kyagulanyi took over as the party President. He failed to account for it which forced him to take off to Germany like a scared cat with his wife.
Kyagulanyi recently purchased a house worth 1.7Million dollars in Alsterdorf Villa Humburg, Germany where he is currently staying. In a shared post on Facebook, Bobi wine is seen at his new property walking around the compound.
The house is an addition to ghetto gladiator’s houses like the Magere mansion. The Germany luxurious mansion is too expensive to be purchased by an ordinary politician/musician which has drawn public concern about Kyagulanyi’s source of income and lavish lifestyle
Kyagulanyi has turned his claimed political struggle into a business entity by using Kibalama’s NUP party as money making machine and denying Kibalama ownership of his party.
Bobi Wine has managed to collect over Ugx 1.5 billion shillings in one year as revealed by his ABSA STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT AS AT 15th/4/2022.
Every Member of Parliament belonging to NUP contributes UGX. 500,000/= per month to the party, Money from IPOD and also Donations from within and outside Uganda.
Once Moses Kibalama started demanding and threatening to reclaim his party, Kyagulanyi could not stand losing out, he chose the easiest way out like the coward he is and took off to Germany to spend and eat the monies accumulated in peace.

URA clarifies the KACITA planned protest cause.

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) said 125 containers are pending clearance for taxes, dismissing the figure the spokesperson of Kampala City Traders Association (KACITA) told the Saturday Vision. "The Saturday Vision on 28/08/2021 reported that 700 containers of textile/garments are stuck at URA, quoting the Spokesperson of KACITA. A figure that is far from the truth," Ian Rumanyika, the Authority's acting commissioner of public and corporate affairs, said in a Sunday statement. "We are in possession of 125 containers and so far, 9 have been cleared due to the new tax regime as pronounced by the Honorable Minister of Finance Planning and Economic Development." For the current financial year, the government raised the import duty rate of garments from 25% to 35% or a charge of $3.5 for every kilogram and for textile fabrics, it was increased to 35% or $3 per kg. In an August 4 letter, Finance Minister Matia Kasaija advised that that textile fabrics and garments tha...
