BOBI WINE'S VICIOUS CYCLE OF LIES UNEARTHED.

During the previous elections in Uganda Bobiwine convinced the youthful ugandans that we go and vote in big numbers and leave the rest of chasing President Museveni out of the seat  since he was sure his going to win the January 2021 Presidential elections. Upon giving him our votes especially in central region of Buganda, to our disappointment  we heard he was under house arrest for inciting public riots, this left us wondering, if he can be put under  house arrest how can he manage to chase President Museveni out of power?  Bobiwine at it again, this time he said; He's connected and has allies/friends from Western  super power countries and they have accepted to help him by sending a Navy War ship via Mombasa to lake Victoria to oust President Museveni from power, To our surprise what came out of the war Navy ship that spent some good days at Mombasa port was a brand new bullet proof car which costs billions of dollars and the first of it's kind to be owned by an i

I STAND WITH UGANDA

In the aftermath of the violence, several people were hurt, businesses were destroyed, Crowds looting and setting alight shopping centers, were captured on videos and panic gripped the entire citizen population due to the uncertainty “I was in my shop when a group of ten young men came in and looted all my goods and the money in the safe,” Faridah Nakazi, a shopk eeper in Kampala, says. “They beat me before fleeing”. Taxi driver Silvester Owor laments how “thugs placed objects in the road forcing passengers to get out of the taxi. They beat them before taking everything they had”. Source: https://www.lifegate.com/uganda-riots-bobi-wine Soldiers working with the police managed to catch a few rioters; in total almost 45 were arrested, but law enforcement remained heavily outnumbered. Following the arrests made the opposition has gone ahead to provoke, attack, humiliate and create false propaganda in order to plant hate for the government to the public,

BOBI WINE SET TO SACRIFICE MORE INNOCENT YOUTHS AS HE LAUNCHES NATIONWIDE VIOLENCE CAMPAIGN.

The National Unity Platform President Robert Kyagulanyi has embarked on a new nationwide mobilization campaign that kicked off in Mbale District. Unlike previous campaigns aimed at drumming up support for his Presidential candidature, the current campaign is aimed at reinvigorating his image as the leader of the Opposition in Uganda. Their is nothing wrong with all this aside from the fact that this is a purely stage managed attempt at inciting violent conflict with security forces ahead of the much anticipated anniversary of the November 2020 chaos that left scores dead on the streets. Robert Kyagulanyi understands very well that he stands no chance in a noble and dignified political campaign against the ruling government. His supporters also identify best with violent confrontation. This is the same reason as to why the NUP has been in a war of words with other political parties most recent being the Democratic Party whom they accuse of being in bed with the NRM.  His Fac

LUMBUYE YET TO EAT BIG FROM THE CONTRERVERSIAL PROPAGANDA.

Fred Kajjubi Lumbuye, a Ugandan based in Turkey became famous when he embarked on a social media blackmail campaign against the Government of Uganda during his stay in Turkey. However, there has been an unexpected change in behavior of Lumbuye who is allegedly set to receive a luxurious mansion from the Government after his release. Through his popular sites on YouTube, Twitter and Face book, Lumbuye continuously alleged that the current regime was involved in the murders of its own citizens who were thought to be acting or speaking against the Museveni regime.  In his popular YouTube live videos, he always alleged to be aware of every secret mission from the first family and its subordinates around the globe where much emphasis was on the President, first family and other persons of interest sought to be cooperating with the Government.  Several personalities faced defamation by Lumbuye because he had gained mass following through his opposition fed falsehoods against Gove

Why Uganda Means A lot to The Outside World

B y Babirye Milly Babalanda As we end the Independence month, what is the takea way? Does Uganda matter in the eyes of the world? Would the world miss us if we ceased to exist or disintegrated into a stateless heap? In answer to this question, I referred to two messages sent to us at Independence; one from the United States, issued by Secretary of State, Mr. Anthony J. Blinken, and the other from the Secretary General of the United Nations, H.E Antonio Gutierrez. In part, Blinken's statement read: "The United States also appreciates Uganda's commitment to welcoming those fleeing war and persecution. By offering to temporarily host evacuees from Afghanistan, Uganda has shown that its hospitality and generosity extend across the globe. We also value the contribution of highly effective Ugandan peacekeeping forces to efforts to maintain peace and security in the region". H.E Gutierrez said, in part: "On this Independence Day, I count on the Republic of U

AN ENEMY WITHIN. The Secret Position of David Lewis Rubongoya in NUP and why he is there".

There is a saying that says; "What will swallow you is usually part of the nice garment you often want to put on. Everyone since the inception of NUP has always wondered why the NUP delegation Conference chose David Lewis Rubongoya as the Secretary General of the Party. Let's pause A bit, what if this was a state intended choice to ease its spy activities in the NUP party?? It's wise to know and intently perceive that a Secretary General in any political party has almost more powers than anyone else.  Family background According to our trusted sources, Lewis Rubongoya is a Mubiito Munyoro whose parents shifted from Bunyoro to Mbarara District. His father was an ordinary veterinary doctor and the mother was an unlicensed teacher who stopped teaching at a young age.  David Lewis is the fourth out of five children from the mother's side and the ninth on the father's side because the father had four other children from a different mother. The Father later o

COULD THE BOMBS BE PLAN B OF THE NATIONAL UNITY PLATFORM?

Following the recent bomb attacks on Ugandans, a section of People have called for an investigation on National Unity Platform arguing that their previous utterances of plan B could have meant this.  Lumbuye, a famous NUP activists went to his you tube last year to teach people how to make Petrol Bombs and attack a section of Ugandans, a thing that people think Security should investigate to depth.  Earlier this week, a bomb exploded at Cheers and Beers Pub & Pork Joint at Kwato, Komamboga a Kampala suburb killing one person and injured 03 others. Similarly, an attack took place aboard Swift bus registration number UAU 989T bound for lshaka in which one (01) person the suicide bomber Isaac Matovu alias Muzafala, alias Mustapha died on spot. In Komamboga, the attackers managed to flee the scene uninjured but were earlier identified before the explosion happened. A barmaid at Cheers and Beers Pub and Pork Joint who survived the blast told a local TV channel minutes after

NUP PLANS TO FRUSTRATE THE BAIL AMENDMENT PROPOSAL LEAKED

Aiden Kaliisa   The proposal wishes for capital offenders including murder suspects denied bail, saying it is a provocation to the victims and other families. It was recently endorsed by the Cabinet that prominently singled out suspects on murder, rape, robbery and treason charges among others as the main target for the amendment. A secret plot by the National Unity Platform leadership and activists to frustrate the current bail amendment proposal by government has leaked. A security source has revealed how NUP is now clandestinely planning to harass and attack Members of Parliament in a bid to threaten not to back the proposal. “We have established how this group is secretly mobilizing their radical members to stalk our legislators by making multiple phone calls not to support this proposed bill. Each member has been assigned the task to make a minimum of 100 phone calls to an MP within this week,” said the security source who preferred

While addressing a press conference at the party headquarters at Uganda House, Sharom Alach the party spokesperson said they had not received any communication from the newly formed pressure group with an intentiom of unseating President Museveni. On those who represented UPC during the launch of the PFT, Sharon described them as masqueraders and imposters saying that their personal interests and actions do not represent the position of the party. She further said that UPC has no intentions of joining the coalition because the formed pressure group is not the solution to change that Uganda needs.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT COVID-19 TESTING FOR TRAVELLERS.

Entebbe, Uganda I recently escorted my elder sister to the airport on her way out to the United Arab Emirates for hopefully a better job prospect. Her ticket was for a Fly Dubai flight and she had earlier completed COVID-19 testing with the PCR test at City Medicals with her results returning Negative.  Just like all first timers, one doesn’t want to miss their first flight out to anywhere so we made plans to be at the airport early enough to avoid any delays or late requirements that might cause a rebooking fee. Bags packed, travel documents and COVID-19 test results in hand we head to the airport with no stops in mind. With the better part of my days spent between Bulenga on Mityana road and the city centre of Kampala, a drive to Entebbe on the Express way was a welcome shot of fresh air. Not known to me then, was an impending second COVID-19 test 6 hours prior to boarding the plane for United Arab Emirates bound passengers. Here I thought my sister was being early for th

CONTINUING UNIVERSITY STUDENTS TO BENEFIT FROM THE GOV’T LOAN SCHEME.

While speaking to journalists at the Uganda Media Centre on Monday afternoon, HESFB Executive Director, Michael Wanyama said that the targeted continuing students are those from the 22 registered public and private universities and 36 other tertiary institutions. The executive director of the Higher Education Students Financing Board (HESFB), said Parliament this financial year approved an extra Shs500m to cater for continuing students. Mr Wanyama also indicated that loans would be given to continuing students who have frequently asked for dead years and those who have been struggling to raise tuition within a semester. He said studies had revealed that students were leaving different programmes of study in higher education institutions due to failure to raise fees. Mr Wanyama also said the funds will be directed to the finalists in the 5th, 4th, 3rd and 2nd year depending on the years of their programme.

LEADER OF OPPOSITION MATHIAS MPUUGA, AN EXAMPLE OF THE BIJAMBIYA INTERESTED POLITICIANS.

In the late night patrol across the greater Masaka region to stop and arrest the Bijambiya killers, police initiated a patrol on different routes to ensure the safety of the late road users and their night intentions.  The patrol involved different police commanders from the Greater Masaka and the added efforts from the joint security forces. However, LOP Mathias Mpuuga through his tweet on his twitter account attacked the efforts of Police by alleging that Police decided to have a photoshoot along the Masaka streets showing off the motor cycles and the new uniforms. This act from an opposition politician clearly shows efforts of the opposition politicians to demoralise the police and other security institutions to stop those executing the Bijambiya task and this is a clear indication of their involvement and fear to let their plans fail. This further explains how the opposition politicians are taking advantage of their missions to achieve their goals on the expense of peop

MASAKA KILLINGS ASSOCIATED WITH POLITICIANS’ INTERESTS-SAYS CHRIS BARYOMUNSI.

During a press conference at Uganda media Centre yesterday, the Minister for ICT and National guidance said that it was established that some opposition MPs have always embarked on painting a negative image in the community against the government.  This is meant to indicate that the government has failed to protect its citizens hence clandestinely encouraging mass public protests to ensure the success of their missions. He further encouraged the people in Greater Masaka to work closer with the local authorities to eliminate the vice than listening to the same politicians who see an opportunity in the machete welding goons. It is noted that this is not the first incidence of a kind most especially after elections where politicians always promise plan B, C, D. the related incidences include the women killings in Entebbe, Bijambiya killings around the Kampala suburbs. The total number of deaths mounted to 28 by the time of the press and government had laid all plans of curbing the vice in

URA clarifies the KACITA planned protest cause.

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) said 125 containers are pending clearance for taxes, dismissing the figure the spokesperson of Kampala City Traders Association (KACITA) told the Saturday Vision. "The Saturday Vision on 28/08/2021 reported that 700 containers of textile/garments are stuck at URA, quoting the Spokesperson of KACITA. A figure that is far from the truth," Ian Rumanyika, the Authority's acting commissioner of public and corporate affairs, said in a Sunday statement. "We are in possession of 125 containers and so far, 9 have been cleared due to the new tax regime as pronounced by the Honorable Minister of Finance Planning and Economic Development." For the current financial year, the government raised the import duty rate of garments from 25% to 35% or a charge of $3.5 for every kilogram and for textile fabrics, it was increased to 35% or $3 per kg. In an August 4 letter, Finance Minister Matia Kasaija advised that that textile fabrics and garments tha
