Fred Kajjubi Lumbuye a political activist and National Unity Platform die hard, Turkey based Ugandan was last year arrested by authorities from Turkey in cooperation with the Ugandan Government. Fred Lumbuye was charged by over ten (10) charges including spreading false information about Ugandan government, annoying the president and other charges including smuggling and selling Ugandan girls as prostitutes to rich Turkish men. The government further pushed for the deportation of political activist so that he can be charged from Uganda which has failed. Yesterday July 19, 2022 The Minister for Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees, Mr. Hilary Onek and Napak District Woman MP Faith Nakut flagged off relief food worth 552 metric tonnes of maize flour and 238 metric tonnes of beans at the Office of Prime Minister Stores in Namanve, Wakiso District  On the same date, the Government dispatched 790 metric tons of relief food to Karamoja Sub-region, whose people are on the brink of starvation. The food is targeting 600,000 people in Kotido, Kaabong, Moroto, Napak, Karenga and Nabilatuk districts that are worst hit by famine. The Government attributes the hunger to effects of climate change, cattle rustling and insecurity. The Karamoja operations, includes their neighborhood, which is also suffering and the vulnerable people like children with nodding disease syndrome in areas of Kivu, parts of Lamwo and Pader districts. Two electoral commission officials who were bribed by Hon. Kyagulanyi were suspended by the EC for tampering with the original National Unity Platform documents of Kibalama and replacing them with fake documents of Kyagulanyi. The documents were under the safe custody of Vincent Mulokozi the Assistant head of Political Desk, and Godfrey Atwijukye lawyer to the Commission, also known as Godi.  Mr. Moses Kibalama’s approached Kyagulanyi on his desire to reclaim ownership of his party NUP which sparked disagreements on who was the rightful owner. This forced Kibalama to run to Electoral Commission for clarification EC ruled in the favor of Hon. Kyangulany. Batungura Bewotti 27, a student of law at Uganda Christian University Kampala Campus and resident of Kikoni Zone B, Makerere 3 Parish Kawempe Division in Kampala was murdered during the last guild Presidential open campaigns at rugby grounds Makerere University on 14th/7/22. It is alleged that during the campaigns a scuffle ensued between two Political party supporters that resulted in the stabbing of the deceased by students who were allegedly led by Hon. Kabuye Frank (NUP) among others.  The fight was between the NUP and FDC Political factions. The NUP team led by Kabuye Frank turned violent after a disagreement, leading to the stabbing. Police have arrested three people that sparked the chaos. These are; Opposition Youth Shadow Minister also legislator of Kasanda South Constituency Hon. Kabuye Frank who is detained at CPS Kampala, Ssekidde Allan currently detained at Wandegeya police station and Kabuurwa Muzafaru who is detained at old Kampala police station.

Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi has bowed to pressure, mounted on him by Moses Kibalama over Ownership and accountability of the Party (NUP) and relocated to Germany. A few weeks ago Moses Kibalama asked for accountability and all assets owned by NUP from the time Kyagulanyi took over as the party President. He failed to account for it which forced him to take off to Germany like a scared cat with his wife. Kyagulanyi recently purchased a house worth 1.7Million dollars in Alsterdorf Villa Humburg, Germany where he is currently staying. Baguma Bates Filbert the General Secretary Uganda National Teachers Union is ardent about fighting for Arts teachers’ raise. He has consistently told the teachers not to return back to school until their demands are met but is Baguma really fighting for teachers or has his own concealed agenda? Baguma owns a chain of private schools across the country, which have been struggling with operational costs and poor turn up of Pupils. For example Phimose Nursery day and Primary school, he also has shares in British school Kampala and Muyenga British School these two schools have been closed temporarily due to poor turn up and debts.  Schools were greatly affected by Covid-19 Pandemic and majority parents opted for Government schools this Academic year due to high school fees in private schools.
