Hunger for power drove Mufumbiro to witchcraft

Waiswa Alex Mufumbiro has always struggled with being noticed and that’s why he is so vocal and loud on every topic, even those he knows nothing about. He always speaks on behalf of NUP even when Joel Ssenyonyi, NUP spokesperson is around.
After losing the Jinja municipality west seat to FDC, Mufumbiro was useless in NUP until Joel asked Kyagulanyi to make him his deputy but men like Mufumbiro are always two faced.
Mufumbiro, due to jealousy and insecurity vowed to do everything humanly possible to replace Joel as spokesperson for NUP as he wants to be closer to Kyagulanyi and his insiders.
True to his word Mufumbiro did whatever was necessary as he was seen consulting a witch doctor by a one James Otuba of Walukuba.
James, who had gone to consult the witch doctor over a family matter said he saw Mufumbiro with Joel's picture at a renowned witch Doctor’s shrine.
The witch doctor identified as Waiswa Muyiru located in Jinja is apparently bad news and is the go to if one wants to bring down enemies and since Mufumbiro sees Joel as an enemy he decided to spend a lot of money at Muyira’s shrine.
His witchcraft seems to be working for him, as he is recently trusted more by the boss who took him to meet Mr. Frank Rusa executive director IPOD for a money deal.
They say, jealousy is the last class you attend before becoming a witch and Mufumbiro has definitely graduated with honors in the Witch department.

URA clarifies the KACITA planned protest cause.

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) said 125 containers are pending clearance for taxes, dismissing the figure the spokesperson of Kampala City Traders Association (KACITA) told the Saturday Vision. "The Saturday Vision on 28/08/2021 reported that 700 containers of textile/garments are stuck at URA, quoting the Spokesperson of KACITA. A figure that is far from the truth," Ian Rumanyika, the Authority's acting commissioner of public and corporate affairs, said in a Sunday statement. "We are in possession of 125 containers and so far, 9 have been cleared due to the new tax regime as pronounced by the Honorable Minister of Finance Planning and Economic Development." For the current financial year, the government raised the import duty rate of garments from 25% to 35% or a charge of $3.5 for every kilogram and for textile fabrics, it was increased to 35% or $3 per kg. In an August 4 letter, Finance Minister Matia Kasaija advised that that textile fabrics and garments tha...
