COULD THE BOMBS BE PLAN B OF THE NATIONAL UNITY PLATFORM?

Following the recent bomb attacks on Ugandans, a section of People have called for an investigation on National Unity Platform arguing that their previous utterances of plan B could have meant this.
Lumbuye, a famous NUP activists went to his you tube last year to teach people how to make Petrol Bombs and attack a section of Ugandans, a thing that people think Security should investigate to depth.
Earlier this week, a bomb exploded at Cheers and Beers Pub & Pork Joint at Kwato, Komamboga a Kampala suburb killing one person and injured 03 others.
Similarly, an attack took place aboard Swift bus registration number UAU 989T bound for lshaka in which one (01) person the suicide bomber Isaac Matovu alias Muzafala, alias Mustapha died on spot.

In Komamboga, the attackers managed to flee the scene uninjured but were earlier identified before the explosion happened.
A barmaid at Cheers and Beers Pub and Pork Joint who survived the blast told a local TV channel minutes after the incident that two men came; the first one was wearing a People Power shirt precursor of National Unity Platform and asked for two buckets of Nile Special beer.

She further explained that one of the attackers was not very strange to her meaning that these attackers have been regular visitors at this local drinking joint.
Immediately after the interview was aired live on TV, the National Unity Platform party leadership led by the secretary General David Lewis Lubongoya were too quick to go defensive accusing government of trying to frame the party members.

The party spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi had also earlier through his social media pages insinuated that the state/ security agencies were behind this attack.

As an old adage goes, he who accuses every neighbor of bewitching him is always a witch.
The National Unity Platform leadership being scared of its members being involved in this crime is like Muslims being concerned about the scarcity of pigs as though they were beneficiaries of its consumption.

Yes, the ISIS/ ADF came out and claimed the responsibility of these attacks but the major point is that, this terror organization used Ugandans to carry out these heinous attacks and these same Ugandans are Ugandan voters, they belong to political parties.
The threatening remarks of turning Uganda into another Iraq or Libya which are terror prone by Bobi Wine during the last presidential election campaigns are still fresh in the minds of Ugandans who have been following his political outbursts very keenly.
During the same election period, we also saw NUP’s acidic blogger Fred Lumbered based in Turkey teaching party supporters of how to make improvised explosive bombs using rudimentary tools.
We then observed the emergence of throwing petrol bombs on government vehicles after elections followed by the infamous bijambiya in Greater Masaka and now again bombs.
Therefore, this could as well be part of the opposition Plan B aimed at making Uganda ungovernable like Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan just like Kyagulanyi earlier prophesied.
Uganda as a country has faced this threat before, in its rural and urban dimensions but our security and intelligence agencies defeated it.
Our resolve is tested. We shall defeat this wave too. Wannabe Politicians like Rubongoya and Ssenyonyi should avoid making inappropriate and unverified statements which only amplify public apprehension and anxiety, thereby complementing the desired intended aim of the perpetrators.

A strategy of attacking and insulting the CDF and the First son Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has yielded fruits after he was arrested for questioning. This quickly invited all silent players to rush on blaming the government accusing the first son and the President for being dictators who don’t want to be accused. The plan almost failed when Kakwenza was released from prison on bail without any scratch on his body and this would have been a setback in the plans at hand. URA clarifies the KACITA planned protest cause.

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) said 125 containers are pending clearance for taxes, dismissing the figure the spokesperson of Kampala City Traders Association (KACITA) told the Saturday Vision. "The Saturday Vision on 28/08/2021 reported that 700 containers of textile/garments are stuck at URA, quoting the Spokesperson of KACITA. A figure that is far from the truth," Ian Rumanyika, the Authority's acting commissioner of public and corporate affairs, said in a Sunday statement. "We are in possession of 125 containers and so far, 9 have been cleared due to the new tax regime as pronounced by the Honorable Minister of Finance Planning and Economic Development." For the current financial year, the government raised the import duty rate of garments from 25% to 35% or a charge of $3.5 for every kilogram and for textile fabrics, it was increased to 35% or $3 per kg. In an August 4 letter, Finance Minister Matia Kasaija advised that that textile fabrics and garments tha...
