HON. NAMBOOZE’S DOMESTIC VIOLENCE COSTS UGANDANS ONE (01) BILLION SHILLINGS IN MEDICAL BILLS

Following the operation of Betty Nambooze the Mukono municipality member of parliament in 2017 at Manipal Hospital in India. The legislator was advised to let her back heal and avoid vigorous activities. Recently she penned a letter to the husband, Henry Bakireke to reaffirm her feelings but this was long overdue as the he has been lacking in their marital bed.

Sources close to the Bakirekes confirm that couple has been on a war path as the patriarch had started to play away games leading to increased fights within the household.

With restraint the husband has stayed away from the confrontation until the recent disagreement that landed the 53 years old legislator in Rubaga hospital with a herniated lumber disc and minor facing injuries that the family has attributed to falls in the household.

On critical examination of the injuries one wonders how a fall can impact various parts of the face body without reflex actions of the arms to reduce impact. A fall is accidental so its impact is treated as such but its affected area cannot be in different parts of the body, unless the patient falls daily.

As it is, these injuries coupled with the spine condition she has been treating since 2017 has cost the Ugandan tax payer millions of shillings and if airlifted to the US for treatment, an additional One Billion Uganda shillings is to be released.
In this internet era the treatment cost advertised online is between 100 to 190 million Uganda shillings equivalent. Leaving the rest of the Mukono municipality natives lacking for medication.

THE CURRENT STAGGERING STATE OF NUP IS SO WORRYING DUE TO CONTINUOUS FAILURE

The National Unity Platform party was built on social media falsehoods, blackmail and public threats in 2019 when the then Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine declared his interests in contesting for the highest office in Uganda against President Museveni. Social media was stormed with falsehoods against Government officials, institutions, service delivery and projects that have at several occasions been watered down by unpatriotic citizens with interests of leading the country. As a result, several bloggers both Ugandan based and the diaspora were hired to ensure the blackmail campaign is sold to the Ugandan community on media and continuous call for sanctions and interference in the politics of Uganda by the international community. The continuous call for sympathy from the international community based on falsehoods has not yielded any results due to their ability to establish a Uganda different from what the NUP Principal and propagandists have s...

WHY EAST AFRICA NEEDS THE EACOP.

There has been recent claims on a motion of resolution by the European Parliament that calls on Uganda and Tanzania to stop the development of oil and gas projects in the East African region.  However,  Uganda and East Africa need the Oil pipeline following public reactions towards the negative motives of the European Parliament. It brings back colonial times, much as their arguments have a grain of salt, I dont think the the implementers of EACOP did not conduct Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). This was done and all aspects taken into consideration. And besides that, Africa at large is the least contributor to climate change. They (first world countries) are the biggest contributors-they are burning fossil fuels like coal which contribute heavily to climate change.  They have refused to stop their use, they should tackle that First, before they start extending their concerns to us. We need this pipeline as a region, we should just look at ensuring its...
