In the current internal conflicts between the original party proprietors and the Bobi Wine group, Bobi Wine had completely lost control and leadership after he was appointed as party Minister of Foreign Affairs by Moses Nkonge Kibalama,  the party founder. Kibalama had earlier accused Bobi Wine for using NUP for his personal interests,  misallocation of funds directed to party activities giving an example of the IPOD money that wasn't accounted for and diversion from the core values and interests of the party. An alliance between Kibalama and Mpuuga was then established since LOP wasn't directly involved in such illegal acts in the party. After Moses Nkonge Kibalama announced the new NUP leadership due to increased misuse of the NUP party by Bobi Wine, new party Headquarters have been unveiled by the newly appointed party leadership with Bobi Wine being appointed as NUP Minister of Internal Affairs.  Kibalama accused Bobi Wine for using NUP as a stepping block to push for his personal interests, a diversion from the original party interests and ideology.   This came after Kibalama accused Bobi wine for misuse IPOD money that was allocated for the party after several NUP MPs accused Bobi Wine, his brother Fred Nyanzi, Lewis Rubogonya and Joel Ssenyonyi for sharing the money amongst themselves. The newly party Headquarters are found in Rubaga Division than the previous Kamwokya based faction that's led by Bobi Wine, the newly appointed Minister of International Affairs in the current NUP structure. 

While conducting a constituency meeting in Kawempe South, Hon. Kazibwe Bashir was forced to move out from the meeting by angry voters who accused their MP for his poor performance in Parliament. He was conducting the consultation meeting on the commodity prices currently being experienced in the country when a couple of voters accused him for not returning to the Constituency after he was voted to Parliament. He was further accused of being selfish because he neglected and distanced himself from his mobilisers who worked so tirelessly to ensure he is elected to Parliament where most of them lost their jobs and businesses while working for his victory. Before the recently concluded 2021 Presidential campaigns took shape, President YK Museveni promised zero opposition by election time.  This is the same time when the collapse of the FDC Kiiza Besigye era and raise of NUP led by Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu whose raise into politics began from Kyadondo East in a by election after Katinti was kicked out of Parliament by Court.
