Similarly, an attack took place aboard Swift bus registration number UAU 989T bound for lshaka in which one (01) person the suicide bomber Isaac Matovu alias Muzafala, alias Mustapha died on spot. A plot by the notorious city businessmen dealing in illegal fishing to blackmail and malign the UPDF marines unit using a section of city radio callers has been exposed, Yours Truly reports.   According to very reliable sources, a section of opposition perennial radio callers on local radio stations  yesterday Friday 22nd October 2021 were paid money by a renown fish dealer (Name withheld for security reason)  to soil the noble efforts made by UPDF marines in fighting against illegal fishing. The group led by a one Mutyaba Isaac and Jimmy Sseremba were in a meeting at Already Hotel on Old Kampala at 4:00PM. They were paid 100,00 each for an operation which is beginning on Monday 25th October 2021. While addressing a press conference at the party headquarters at Uganda House, Sharom Alach the party spokesperson said they had not received any communication from the newly formed pressure group with an intentiom of unseating President Museveni. On those who represented UPC during the launch of the PFT, Sharon described them as masqueraders and imposters saying that their personal interests and actions do not represent the position of the party. She further said that UPC has no intentions of joining the coalition because the formed pressure group is not the solution to change that Uganda needs.

Uganda is set to send 160 Police personnel to Somalia for peacekeeping operations. According to the Uganda Police Force, the officers have finished a six-months training, and will be deployed by December under the African Union Mission in Somalia. The officers are meant to provide public order management and protection of African Union personnel and facilities. The team is part of the formed police units within the African Union, which rotates on an annual basis. "In Somalia, the officers will provide public order management, protection of African Union (AU) personnel and facilities within means and capabilities, and Support police operations that require a formed response," police added.
